Paul's first soccer game

He had fun and had some great goal kicks from out of bounds. And they won!

Artwork

Hannah did the hand. It's called a "henna hand", which sounds "Hannah hand", because part of it it is made from material of a henna plant. It makes for a cool phone background.

The next one is Paul's. Can you see what it is? Love it.

Kate's crossing guard friend

This is Mr. Gallagher. He is the crossing guard who thinks Kate is the cutest thing in the entire world.  He hugs her sometimes when she comes to the school in the morning and waves to her through the van windows when we leave at the end of the day. He asks me all the time, "can I please please take her home?"
We love Mr. Gallagher.

The White Rabbit

Paul was the White Rabbit last week in the 3rd Grade Alice and Wonderland Play. We put white tee shirts around Elizabeth's big ND slippers to give him "rabbit's feet" and he did the rest of his costume.

The scene below was great. As you'll see at the beginning, the kids didn't have all their lines nor the timing down pat, so there were some awkward pauses. (You can see the rabbit ears swivel as he looks at the people who are supposed to say their lines but are forgetting). Around 18 seconds, Paul does the right line but no one else remembers. (They're all supposed to yell, "Yay!" together.) He waves his arm to get everyone going, and eventually, they pick up on it...

Paul's early birthday gift

Grandma sent a gift for Paul and said he could open it early. He was super excited! (This was taken at 6:24a.m.)
